Product Description
The NRSWA Standard Operative (Units 1-6 & 9) re-assessment course lasts 2 days and assessments are carried out in the classroom.
Each day covers 3-4 units with training i the morning followed by the examination papers in the afternoon. Each unit is assessed via a 10-question paper, and the pass mark is 80% for each paper.
The New Roads and Street Works Act requires that any street works site must have at least one qualified operative on site at all times during works and the site must have a qualified supervisor appointed to the site who can oversee the works.
Successful completion of the NRSWA re-assessment course results in you gaining a City & Guild or SQA certificate for each unit and a street works card showing your units of competence, which is valid for a further 5 years.
If you would prefer not to take the written assessments then you are able to take the full 5-day practical-based course instead.
